Book Sacrifice Tag!

Hello everyone! I hope you have all had a lovely week?

This week was my birthday week, so I haven’t done much reading.. at all. So instead of a review, (because I didn’t even finish one book! 🙈) I will be doing the Book Sacrifice Tag!. (Its not as brutal as it sounds, honest). Everyone has books they didn’t like.. so lets go!

I originally found this tag a long time ago on Youtube (Ariel Bissett).

An Over-Hyped book: Let’s start this off with a Zombie Apocalypse! Let’s say you’re in a book store, just browsing, when BAM! ZOMBIE ATTACK. An announcement comes over the PA System saying that the military has discovered that the zombies’ only weakness is over-hyped books. What book that everyone else says is amazing but you really hated do you start chucking at the zombies knowing that it will count as an over-hyped book and successfully wipe them out?!

Eleanor & Park.

I mean this book was meh.. I listened to the audiobook rather than reading it, maybe that’s why I didn’t connect with it? I don’t know.

I found Eleanor to be pretty winey. I know she is having a hard time, but so are a lot of people. I hate winey people in books that think everyone hates them. I just did not connect with this book or the characters at all, but that being said, I do like other Rainbow Rowell books…

A Sequel: Let’s say you’ve just left the salon with a SMASHING new haircut and BOOM: Torrential downpour. What sequel are you willing to use as an umbrella to protect yourself?

The Last Star

The 3rd book counts right? I’m going with yes. This book.. UGH! I can’t even begin with how much it upset me. I absolutely loved The 5th Wave. Infinite Sea was abit boring but I find most second books are in a trilogy. This book had so much potential to be more, even with the ending.. I didn’t feel emotional.. Sam pretty much saved this for me.

A Classic: Let’s say you’re in a lecture and your English teacher is going on and on about how this classic changed the world, how it revolutionised literature and you get so sick of it that you chuck the classic right at his face because you know what? This classic is stupid and it’s worth detention just to show everyone how you feel! What Classic did you chuck?

Pride and Prejudice

I will hold my hands up, I don’t read many classics. However, this is one I have heard so much about, and I just don’t think I could stand to ever read it.

Your least favourite book of life!: Let’s say that you’re hanging out at the library when BAM global warming explodes and the world outside becomes a frozen wasteland. You’re trapped and your only chance for survival is to burn a book. What is the book you first run to, your least favourite book of all life, what book do you not fully regret lighting?

Under The Dome

Complete let down. Never finished.

I tag you all to do this! Its good fun to voice your opinions! What books could you not stand?

Happy reading!
